Bee and Cue, a live performance piece with Mildmanjan involving construction work, unique artefacts and live music. Builder Bee transforms or recycles a household object into a box - conveniently sized to house a CD. Musician Cue takes the sounds of this constucting and transforms or recycles them into music and simultaneously records a CD. At the end of the two simultaneous performances, a unique CD is sold or auctioned in the unique box; the objects bear witness to their own manufacture and the miracle of recycling.

Performed Manchester and Bristol "Between Time Festival". Objects recycled include a cooker, a clock, a computer and a car. Seen here masquerading as Jazz workshop recyclists, turning Charlie Parker records into Hummous.

Sodom a song project: originaly an acoustic trio performing songs on Voice/Cello/Guitar, with Acoustic Bass & a Drum. Line-up varies but the song remains the focus. Mostly covers in variously recogniseable states of dismemberment.

GOMMORRAhh: a rhythmnoise duet using electronic instruments made from wood and occasional songs, with Mildmanjan playing Modified Rhythm Box. Performed Manchester, London, Newcastle and Berlin. Single out on RSI, see releases page .

Sensible Skin: a very quiet imptovisation group. With Tony Buck - Samples and Joe Williamson - Double Bass. Taking time to explore the fine details of textures outside the musical landscape.

Chinook Clarinet Quartet with unplugboy: the sounds of a contemporary clarinet quartet are processed live through a laptop. Compositions adapted from other composers and some made specifically for the collaboration. Available for concerts and CD out soon on a_e .

SWARF and SQIf: two groups concerned with rythmic improvisation lead by me. Line-ups have included: David "Stickman" Higgins, Andy Diagram, Tony Buck, Andy Ex, Kai Wolff and Jason Khan. Performed Nottingham, London, Berlin Urban Aboriginals Festival.

LIAR: electronic improvising group. With Tony Buck - Ultrasound sample controller and drums and Kaffe Matthews - Midi violin. Performed English tour and BBC broadcast from Purcell Room London.

RHO - composition/improvisation, Berlin minima-femina school. With Andrea Neumann - Innen Klavier, Sabine Erklenz - Trumpet, Margrit Reiben - Drums & Electronics. Performed German and Swiss tours including Taktlos festival Switzerland.
